Westworld - season 1

I'm now spending the last days of my HBO trial rewatching the recently watched Westworld. It's not that I've gotten very enthusiastic about the series - on the contrary, I somehow never really warmed up to it. I understood at once that there was some interesting idea behind it, but for many episodes the narrative seemed too slow, and sometimes even boring. Besides, there is no character there that I became attached to - they all seem somewhat distant (hope that makes sense), both the hosts and the humans. Maybe they just lack space for expressing themselves because of so many fragments - although it isn't a problem with some other series.
 
Now, on rewatch, knowing what had been going on and noticing details, the series is much more interesting.

In short, not one of my favourites, but I'm glad I didn't drop it.

But now I guess I return to Netflix for a while. Unlike HBO, they have something in French and Italian. Back to HBO in a couple of months, then. Hopefully, the account and the watchlist won't get deleted.
