watching shadows

In summer, I had to buy myself a wide-brimmed hat and attach ribbons to it to make a knot under the chin so that the hat would stay in place while I was cycling. Then, my shadow looked very much like a 19th century lady.

Now, in rainy weather, my shadow has turned into a mix of an angel and a Nazgul - with the dark "hood" where my rain hat is and the transparent wings of the rain cloak fluttering behind my back.

I'm not sure why you're following me, but that's fine. Hi :) Gave you "friends" access, cos why not. I'm not sure how many restricted entries I even have (not many, at least), but now you can view any that might exist.

Also, use a helmet instead of a hat when you cycle; they're much better at keeping your brains inside your skull if you fall and hit your head.

Shadows are fun! I also like looking around and noticing little details when I'm walking outside; there are so many interesting things like this, if you are observant. :)
