 First experience of explaining Finnish grammar in French! Not bad for an improvisation, I guess, and luckily it was conjugation of type 1 verbs without consonant gradation - but I will need to look up some more terms before next class.
But it was actually fun...

I have studied Spanish and a little Latin. How is Finnish grammar different from the Romance languages?

It is quite different. Many cases, for example. On the other hand, some things are similar - like, verbs have personal forms.
